Lily & Noah: Growing Up in the 21st Century.
Lily & Noah is a modern day children’s book based around the new words added to the Junior Oxford Dictionary. They show the change in the ideals of childhood and the words that are in common enough usage to be deemed useful to know from the age of 7. The book itself illustrates scenes in which new words are used in order to help children relate and understand often complex words. The book, loosely based around the 1950s-70s Ladybird Peter and Jane books, takes a satirical and tongue in cheek look at modern life and how childhood has changed in the last 60 or so years.
